MEASURES FOR IMPROVED GOVERNANCE IN HEALTHCARE AND ACCESS TO QUALITY HEALTH SERVICES

CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The Ministry of Health, in its capacity of Programme Operator of Programme BG07 „Public Health Initiatives“, invites potential project promoters to submit project proposals within the present call under the following measures of the Programme:

Measure 1: Improvement of the mental health care system for Bulgarian citizens 

Measure 2: Improved access to quality sexual and reproductive health services for adolescents (10-19 years of age), with a specific focus on vulnerable groups, in particular Roma and people living in remote areas

Measure 5: Improved quality and access to care for children with mental, genetic and onco-haematologic diseases (with emphasis on children suffering from cerebral palsy, cardio-vascular diseases, autism, young people with nutritional disorders) and somatic impairment  caused by infectious diseases (such as poliomyelitis, bacterial meningitis, morbili, TB, HIV/AIDS, etc.)

Measure 6: Delivery of health services through a homecare approach to pregnant women and children up to 3 years old for groups at risk with a focus on Roma

This call is for provision of grant assistance of 5 347 000 euro in total, distributed among the following measures:

-      Measure 1 -  2 000 000 euro

-      Measure 2 – 680 000 euro

-      Measure 5 – 1 987 000 euro

-      Measure 6 – 680 000 euro

Minimum and maximum amount of the grant assistance per project:

-      from 170 000 to 300 000 euro for projects under measure 1

-      from 170 000 до 340 000 euro for projects under measures 2, 5 и 6

The Grants from the Programme may cover up to 100% of the total eligible project costs.

Priority will be given to projects to be implemented in partnership with partners from the Donor States. In the process of preparation of project proposals and/or search for partners from the Donor States potential promoters will have the opportunity to participate in a forthcoming event under the Fund for bilateral relations whose date and venue will be announced later on.
